Professional service

Underfloor Heating Cleaning

Zone-by-zone assessment and cleaning for circuits with restricted flow.

Manifold and zone-based service

When may this service be needed?

Low flow, slow heating and temperature differences between zones should be assessed circuit by circuit. A manifold system allows individual loops to be reviewed and cleaned in a controlled sequence.

Common symptoms

Symptoms worth assessing

  • !One or more zones remaining cool
  • !Low or inconsistent flow-meter readings
  • !Very slow warm-up
  • !Dirty water visible near the manifold
  • !Poor circulation despite pump operation

Service scope

What does a controlled service include?

The exact scope is confirmed after assessment. Unnecessary work and unverified outcome claims are avoided.

01

Visual manifold and loop assessment

02

Review of zone and flow differences

03

Connection and discharge planning

04

Controlled sequential loop cleaning

05

System refill

06

Final flow and distribution checks

Technical approach

Method matters as much as equipment

Underfloor loops are long circuits. Uncontrolled pressure should be avoided, and valve direction must be understood. Low flow may also result from pumps, actuators, valves or balancing rather than contamination alone.

Important: Cleaning and maintenance do not replace a mechanically defective part. Any additional problem identified during assessment is explained separately.
Potential benefits

Benefits of the right assessment

Individual assessment of problem zones

Better understanding of circuit imbalance

Checks manifold and circulation components together

May help improve distribution where flow is restricted

Appointment process

From first enquiry to final checks

1

Details collected

District, system size and symptoms are shared.

2

Scope confirmed

The suitable service and appointment are agreed.

3

Initial assessment

Connections, pressure and condition are checked.

4

Service performed

The work is completed with a protected area.

5

Final review

Circulation and operation are assessed again.

Frequently asked questions

Underfloor Heating Cleaning

Is every loop cleaned separately?

Where the manifold permits, separate loop work provides better control.

Will the floor be damaged?

Normal circuit cleaning does not require breaking the floor.

Does cleaning repair a flow meter?

A mechanically defective meter may require replacement.

How long does it take?

Timing depends on loop count, access and condition.
